Half a million college students personally identify themselves as in recovery, yet fewer than 5% of US college campuses provide any form of recovery support.
To help fill that gap, MAPDA (Mothers Against Prescription Drug Abuse) announced today that it will partner with SAFE Project’s Campuses initiative to provide additional financial support for their technical assistance program.
“MAPDA is pleased to partner with SAFE Project on their technical assistance for their SAFE Campuses Program,” said the Honorable Mary Bono, Chairman and CEO of MAPDA. “This is a mission that is near and dear to our hearts — to provide resources that will be a guiding light for college students in recovery.”
