Christopher Straughan: November 16, 1990 - April 25, 2010. Christopher died tragically of methadone poisoning.

Aaron Shepard:   January 10, 1997 - September 5, 2011 - Aaron was 14 when he arrived home from a friends house, overdosed, and died . 

Jordyn Gryphon Fisher:    February 2, 1994 - July 17, 2011 - Jordyn was 17 when she died of an accidental overdose. 

Bradley Mitchell Wright:   February 1, 1989 - January 18, 2012 - After 3 years of struggles to try to reign him back into our home, Brad decided he wanted to get straight. He relapsed, the drugs he took and overdosed on were opiates.  I hope we can find a way to stop this heartache from ever occurring again. 

Marcus Allen Henson:    June 8, 1986 - April 17, 2012 - Marcus overdosed while at home alone the evening of April 16th and was found deceased on April 17th.

Daniel Placek:  Passed away on January 26, 2012.

Brett H.:  April 28, 1979 - April 8, 2012 - Brett's father went to wake him up on Easter morning and found him not breathing and non responsive.  He was taking Methadone.

Ashlee Nicole Garner:  July 2, 1987 - August 13, 2011 - Ashlee was a beautiful young woman with a promising future.  She was prescribed pain medication after ankle surgery.  Ashlee became addicted and passed away from an overdose on August 12, 2011.

Anthony Capone:  July 17, 1989 - April 12,2009 - Anthony had been in drug treatment and was doing well.  He relapsed and ran away from home.  The police found him deceased four days later.  He passed away from a drug overdose of Heroin and Morphine.

MeLea Joe Feldman:  May 17, 2001 - August 23, 2012 - MeLea was found cold and not breathing by her mother. She was only 11, a great kid with the whole world ahead of her.  This should have never happened.

Joe Jeff Hickman:  December 10, 1987 - November 6, 2012 - Joe Jeff passed away of possible prescription drug overdose.

Kody Thorn:  July 26, 1995 - November 17, 2012 - Kody went to a friends house and drank way too much and someone put heroine in front of him and he had never done this before.  His friends thought he has passed out and that is when he died.

Laura Catherine Fortenberry:  November 3, 1978 - March 1, 1998 - Laura was a typical college student, beautiful inside and out.  She had no history of drug abuse.  She took 2 Methadone tablets she got a a party, went home and died in her sleep.  She is the empty chair at family get-togethers and her absence is so profound even to this day.

Justin Riesenhuber:  January 23, 1993 - December 9, 2012 - Justin died from complications due to drug intoxication that he was given by a peer.  He came home, went to sleep and never woke up.  Justin was not an addict at the time of his death.  It only take one time.

Florindo Anthony Pascarella:  June 28, 1986 - June 30, 2011 - Our son was trying to overcome opiates and sought professional help on several occasions.  He had family support and a beautiful 4 year old littler girl that will never know her daddy.

Jennifer Malean:  December 15, 1984 - July 27, 2011 - Doctor prescribed Xanax, then another Doctor prescribed an antidepressant for her Xanax addiction and the combination resulted in her death.

Nicholas Morago:  August 9, 1972 - December 24, 2012 - After kicking his long-time crystal meth habit, Nick was not able to give up the pain medication that was prescribed to him for severe and chronic back pain as a result of an accident. On the day he was found, he had stopped breathing while taking a nap. By all indications, he was taking high doses of several pain medications known to interfere with breathing. Nick was well on his way to getting his life back and we were so proud of him. His family deeply misses him.
